The role

Ashurst Perkins Coie is seeking a Senior Associate, Tax with 5+ years of PQE to join their London office. This role will focus on high-quality transactional and advisory tax work, with an emphasis on private equity investments, capital deployment, and joint ventures, particularly in real estate and infrastructure sectors.

Deploy excellent technical and analytical skills across legal drafting, legislative and case law interpretation, and translating technical concepts into strategic advice

What we're looking for

Senior level associate experience gained at an international law firm (5+ PQE only)

Experience advising corporate and commercial clients on tax matters in a domestic and international context

Experience advising clients in some or all of the following sectors: real estate, infrastructure, private equity, venture, credit, and fund-of-funds (including secondaries)

Experience structuring transactions or investment funds/platforms

Experience drafting structure papers and complex advice notes

Ability to deploy excellent technical and analytical skills across legal drafting, legislative and case law interpretation, and translating technical concepts into strategic advice

Ability to manage projects and transactions in a pro-active and organised manner

Ability to communicate well with colleagues, clients, counterparties and other advisers

Enthusiasm for business development and strong interpersonal skills
