The role
Bristows is seeking an experienced Associate/Senior Associate with 5+ years of PQE in M&A to join their Corporate practice in London. The role will focus on private M&A and equity financings, with broader corporate work for life sciences and technology clients.
What you'll do
- Engage in private M&A and equity financings
- Undertake a broader spectrum of corporate work including joint ventures and reorganisations
- Interact with clients
- Participate in business development activities
- Manage knowledge
- Delegate to and supervise more junior lawyers
What we're looking for
5+ years of PQE
Impressive credentials and experience in private M&A and equity financings
First rate technical legal skills and quality experience
Experience of leading and managing transactions involving lawyers from multiple disciplines / jurisdictions
Interest in the life sciences and/or technology sectors
Ambitious and self-motivated
Ability to fit naturally into a collaborative, mutually supportive and friendly culture
Enthusiasm for business development
Knowledge management and delegating to and supervising more junior lawyers
Excellent interpersonal skills
Substantial client contact and participation in business development activities
Prior experience in life sciences and/or technology sectors· nice to have
