Associate - Pensions at DWF

The role

DWF is seeking a Pensions Associate for their highly regarded Pensions team. This role is for a qualified Solicitor with pensions law experience to advise on all aspects of UK pensions law, supporting on governance, compliance, and the pensions aspects of corporate transactions.

What you'll do

Advise trustees, employers and stakeholders on all aspects of UK pensions law
Support on scheme governance, compliance and regulatory requirements
Advise on pensions aspects of corporate transactions, restructures and funding arrangements
Assist clients with managing pension liabilities and long-term risk strategy
Draft and review scheme documentation and member communications
Support matters involving SIPP and SSAS arrangements
Work closely with colleagues in other DWF teams
Build strong, trusted client relationships through clear and pragmatic advice

What we're looking for

A qualified Solicitor with experience in pensions law

Strong drafting skills and excellent written communication

Commercially minded, with an interest in understanding clients’ business objectives

Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues

Performance-driven, with a focus on delivering high-quality, pragmatic legal advice

A collaborative team player with a proactive approach

Motivated to develop skills and progress within a growing national practice

Candidates based in Glasgow, though Edinburgh candidates who can attend the Glasgow office as required will also be considered
