Senior Associate - Consumer Regulatory

The role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate with expertise in Consumer Regulatory law to join our Commercial team. This role supports household-name clients on complex consumer regulatory, product compliance, and risk management issues, often with a UK and cross-border dimension. The position is ideal for high-performing Senior Associates ready for their first Director appointment or experienced Senior Associates seeking a structured career pathway, offering a flexible, hybrid working approach in London or regional offices.

What you'll do

• Advise clients on consumer protection and product regulatory matters, including product compliance, safety, labelling, marketing and advertising
• Support clients on product risk management, including regulatory strategy, incident response, product withdrawals and recalls
• Advise on sustainability and green claims, helping clients navigate evolving regulatory and enforcement expectations
• Assist clients with regulatory investigations and engagement with enforcement bodies, including Trading Standards, the CMA and other sector regulators
• Support cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters, working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider DWF network
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, contributing to knowledge-sharing and the continued development of the team
