The role
Kennedys is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate with 3+ PQE to join their Health Law team in Birmingham, Cambridge, or Sheffield. The role focuses on a broad range of medical law matters, including Court of Protection, urgent medical treatment decisions, mental health, capacity issues, inquests, and Judicial Reviews.
What you'll do
- Work on a broad range of Court of Protection matters
- Work on urgent medical treatment decisions
- Undertake healthcare advisory work
- Handle mental health and capacity issues
- Manage inquests
- Handle Judicial Reviews
What we're looking for
3+ years' UK-based relevant experience
Strong knowledge and expertise in Court of Protection (including urgent healthcare declaration cases)
Strong knowledge and expertise in Mental Capacity Law
Strong knowledge and expertise in Mental Health Law
Strong knowledge and expertise in Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
Strong knowledge and expertise in Inquests
