Senior/Principal Associate - Transactional Construction at Mills & Reeve

The role

Mills & Reeve is seeking a Senior/Principal Associate with 5+ years of PQE for their market-leading national construction practice in Cambridge. This role is for an experienced transactional construction solicitor who will work on complex projects for a diverse client base.

What you'll do

Work on complex and innovative projects across the private and public sectors
Scoping and agreeing the cost of any matter
Ensuring matters are delivered on time and on budget
Play a role in business development activities
Helping with construction blogs
Assisting with training seminars (in person and on-line)
Contributing to thought leadership reports

What we're looking for

5+ PQE

Experienced background in construction work gained post-qualification

Excellent attention to detail

Good research skills

Ability to build relationships with clients and potential clients

Enthusiastic and hard-working

Pro-active and flexible in their approach

Excellent interpersonal and team skills

Ability to work under pressure with good time and document management skills

Excellent written English and numeracy skills

Strong IT skills and literacy, including good knowledge of MS Office
