Corporate Associate / Senior Associate

The role

Gateley Legal is seeking a Corporate Associate / Senior Associate with 4+ years of PQE to join their M&A practice in Birmingham or London. The role involves working on a diverse range of equity capital markets, public M&A, and corporate governance matters, contributing to the growth of the national Equity Capital Markets team.

What you'll do

• Advise corporates, investment banks, brokers, and major shareholders on a wide range of capital markets matters, including primary and secondary securities offerings listed on both UK and international stock exchanges
• Handle a diverse workload encompassing equity capital markets, public M&A and corporate governance
• Gain significant cross-border transactional experience, including transatlantic, and pan-European work
• Take ownership of matters
• Work closely with a partner on more complex and / or high value work
• Network and build connections in the ECM and wider market
