The role

We are recruiting for a non-contentious Associate or Senior Associate to join our Projects, Infrastructure & Construction (PIC) team. This role is for a lawyer with 2-7 PQE, focusing on non-contentious construction work and supporting key mandates with partner oversight.

What you'll do

Support with key mandates across non contentious construction work
Delegate to and receive support from Associates, Trainees and Paralegals
Develop excellent relationships across our client base
Participate in business development activity to strengthen the team and firm client base
Supervise Associates, Paralegals and Trainees, to support them in their development

What we're looking for

Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered or equivalent)

2PQE – 7PQE

Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision

Well versed in dealing with standard industry forms

Expertise in non-contentious and/or projects related matters

Creative, forward thinker

Proven analytical, communication and organisational skills

Self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines

Client focussed approach with the ability to nurture long standing relationships

Drive and ambition to succeed as a key senior component of the team

Commitment to developing the firm’s offering locally and nationally

Experience of working on real estate development matters· nice to have

Experience of working on public sector matters· nice to have

Mixed contentious and non-contentious practice· nice to have
