The role
An Associate/Senior Associate is sought for the Projects, Infrastructure & Construction (PIC) team in Belfast. This role is for a Construction Solicitor with experience in contentious and non-contentious PIC matters, ideally suited for progression within a growing national team.
What you'll do
- Gain experience in development and transactional construction projects
- Gain expertise in dispute management and resolution
- Support with strategic growth across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland
- Develop your skills, knowledge and construction law expertise, in relation to NEC, FIDIC, JCT and other industry forms
- Work for high calibre clients on complex procurement projects
- Represent clients in adjudication and court proceedings
- Build relationships with new clients and existing clients of the firm
- Delegate to and receive support from Trainees and Paralegals
- Support the Partner team on tenders
- Participate in business development activity to strengthen the team and firm client base
What we're looking for
Qualified Solicitor

Creative, forward thinker
Proven analytical, communication and organisational skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
Client focussed approach with the ability to nurture long standing relationships
Proven experience of supervising and/or managing junior team members
Drive and ambition to succeed as a key senior component of the team
Commitment to developing the firm’s offering locally and nationally
Experience of working across different jurisdictions
