Associate

The role

This role is for a Real Estate Lawyer with 2 to 4 years of PQE who will join the firm's Real Estate group. The position involves providing technical legal expertise, delivering excellent client service, building relationships, and developing business within the firm.

• Acquire and dispose of leasehold and freehold properties
• Handle landlord and tenant matters (primarily commercial but including some residential)
• Manage asset portfolios, including licences and wayleave agreements
• Handle property aspects of corporate acquisitions and disposals
• Prepare reports on title and certificates of title
• Carry out due diligence in satisfaction of bank’s requirements in connection with charging properties
• Advise landlords or tenants in relation to complex pre-lets with significant landlord and tenant works
• Handle portfolio sales and purchases
• Act for overseas investors on the acquisition of investment property
• Advise occupiers in relation to major development and refurbishment of property
