Senior Associate - Energy and Sustainability

The role

This role is for an experienced Senior Associate with at least 4 years of relevant PQE to join the UK team and focus on developments in the energy market. The role involves advising clients on a range of energy-related matters, including heat networks, solar, wind, battery storage, and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

• Advise developers, landlords and operators on the procurement, negotiation and management of heat networks (including concessions, supply agreements, outsourced services and ongoing regulatory compliance)
• Advise on energy projects, including solar, wind and battery storage
• Advise on large scale retrofit programmes (including grant funded, 'Energy as a Service' and subscription models)
• Support on regulatory issues relating to electricity (generation, distribution and supply) and heat networks
• Advise on utility connections including ICP and IDNO arrangements
• Advise on Power Purchase Agreements and Heat Supply Agreements etc
• Advise on EV Chargepoints and related infrastructure
• Participate actively in marketing initiatives aimed at the energy sector
• Build and maintain effective client relationships
