The role
Penningtons Manches Cooper is seeking a Senior Associate with 6+ years of PQE to join its Corporate team in Guildford. This role focuses on M&A, spin-out, and venture capital transactions, offering significant career development and client engagement opportunities.
What you'll do
- Work on a full range of corporate transactions, in particular M&A, spin-out and venture capital transactions
- Provide ongoing company law/corporate advice
- Draft transaction documents and legal advice
- Manage transactions
- Engage with clients and third parties to help deliver transactions
- Get involved with the team’s business development activities
What we're looking for
SRA Qualified
6+ PQE
Solid background as an Associate or Senior associate in private practice
Experience of supervising juniors
Experience running transactions from start to finish
Previous BD experience· nice to have
