Senior Associate - Family Office, Corporate Advisory and Private Capital

The role

HWLE Lawyers is seeking a Senior Associate for its Family Office, Corporate Advisory, and Private Capital practice in Sydney. This role is ideal for an experienced lawyer with 5+ years of PQE in corporate law, M&A, and/or capital markets who wants direct client engagement and significant career progression.

What you'll do

• Provide ongoing counsel to family offices and private capital groups
• Advise on investment strategy and structuring
• Handle share and asset acquisitions and divestments
• Draft and negotiate shareholders' agreements
• Act on both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions
• Manage private capital raisings, venture capital, IPOs and secondary raisings
• Act for companies and investors across the capital lifecycle
• Work directly with partners
• Engage with principals such as families, founders and investors
