The role
Goodwin is seeking a mid-level to senior associate with 4-5 years of PQE to join their Private Equity practice in Boston. This role focuses on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters within the private equity space.
What we're looking for
4-5 years of relevant experience
Experience working in teams and managing components of transactions independently
Specific experience in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital transactions, and exits and equity compensation
Proactive with strong business sense
Stellar communication skills
Ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships
Outstanding academic credentials
Comparable law firm experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
Deal sheet required
