Commercial Litigation - Senior Associate at Pinsent Masons

The role

Pinsent Masons is seeking a Senior Associate with 4-6 years of PQE to join their Commercial Litigation practice in Leeds. This role is for an ambitious lawyer looking to develop expertise in complex, high-value commercial disputes and international arbitration.

What you'll do

Advise on a wide range of commercial disputes including contractual, corporate and financial services disputes and civil fraud across a broad range of industry sectors
Manage disputes across all stages from pre-action through to resolution
Draft court documents including pleadings and evidence
Work collaboratively across our offices globally on cross-border mandates
Take ownership of workstreams with support from senior colleagues
Build client relationships and contribute to business development

What we're looking for

England & Wales qualified lawyer with 4-6 PQE

Experience in complex high-value disputes including litigation and/or international arbitration

Excellent case management skills

Client focus and commitment to first-class service with a view to developing client facing skills

Strong technical and commercial judgement

A strong work ethic demonstrated by a proven track record of meeting standard hours target

Personable and collegiate mindset demonstrated by good working relationships with colleagues, clients and external organisations

A willingness to engage in business development opportunities including client secondments

A genuine interest in working flexibly across commercial litigation and arbitration
