Trade Mark - Senior Associate

The role

Maddocks is seeking a Trade Mark Senior Associate with 5+ years of PQE to join their IP, Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice in Sydney. This role will focus on providing strategic advice across a range of IP matters, including trade marks, copyright, and designs, and supporting clients in advisory, contentious, transactional, and regulatory work.

What you'll do

• Work closely with Elizabeth Ireland
• Provide strategic advice on trade marks, copyright, designs, domain names and business names
• Support clients across advisory, contentious, transactional and regulatory IP matters
• Advise clients across the brand and product lifecycle
• Act in matters before the Trade Marks Office
• Prepare IP licences and agreements
• Handle intellectual property aspects of corporate and finance transactions
• Provide marketing and advertising advice and reviews
• Handle food and product regulatory matters
