The role
Piper Alderman is seeking a Lawyer with 2-4 years of PQE to join their Dispute Resolution & Litigation team in Melbourne. The role focuses on general commercial disputes, including contractual, corporate, and regulatory matters.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers on litigation and dispute matters
- Draft emails, correspondence, opinions, advice, and legal documentation for court and tribunal proceedings
- Assist with the preparation and management of files
- Conduct legal research and drafting legal documents
- Manage the discovery process including collecting, reviewing, and organising documents and evidence
- Attend court appearances and mediations
What we're looking for

An excellent academic record coupled with strong technical legal skills
Ability to effectively manage your own time, managing competing tasks and work to tight deadlines
A high level of attention to detail
