The role
Wilson Sonsini is seeking a corporate associate with 2-4 years of experience to join their New York office. This role will focus on public companies and capital markets transactions, including M&A, IPOs, and equity/debt offerings, as well as public company reporting, compliance, and governance.
What we're looking for
2-4 years of law firm experience in capital markets and public company work
Experience representing either issuers or investment banks in capital markets transactions
Experience in public company reporting compliance and governance
Superior academic credentials
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Experience with IPOs, equity/debt offerings, private investment in public entities (PIPEs) and at-the-market offerings· nice to have
Experience with SEC compliance, disclosure, matters, governance, and Nasdaq/NYSE compliance· nice to have
