The role
Goodwin is seeking a mid-to-senior level Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its Private Equity practice in New York. The role focuses on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters within the private equity space.
What we're looking for

Experience in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital transactions, and exits and equity compensation
Experience working in teams and managing components of transactions independently
Proactive with strong business sense
Stellar communication skills
Ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships
Outstanding academic credentials
Comparable law firm experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
Deal sheet required
