Associate - Agribusiness at Mills & Reeve

The role

Mills & Reeve is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 1-5 years of PQE to join their Agribusiness team in Norwich. The role focuses on a broad range of real estate matters specific to farms, landed estates, and rural businesses.

What you'll do

Undertake and assist with a wide range of real estate work including sales, purchases and advisory work relating to farms, landed estates and agricultural land
Assist with refinancing transactions for landowners and rural businesses
Work on agricultural, rural and business tenancies
Handle farming partnerships
Address trust-related property matters
Manage complex farm and estate registrations
Be involved in rural land development schemes
Work on renewable energy and natural capital projects
Handle mineral leases
Assist with acquisitions and disposals of agricultural land, estates and strategic land

What we're looking for

1-to-5-year PQE

Enthusiasm towards building and strengthening relationships with clients and their advisors

Good academics

Experience of agricultural property work or general commercial property work

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent written English and the ability to produce clear, logical drafting

Good research skills, including an ability to use online information sources and AI where appropriate

Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
