Court of Protection - Associate/Senior Associate

The role

Fieldfisher's Court of Protection team seeks an experienced Solicitor with 6+ PQE to manage a busy caseload. The role involves providing a specialist deputyship service to clients lacking capacity, advising on personal injury trusts, and working closely with senior team members on complex and litigated cases.

What you'll do

• Deal with the routine management of deputyship and personal injury trusts
• Liaise with clients, their families, case managers and other professionals
• Handle all matters with appropriate sensitivity
• Work closely with the firm's Personal Injury and Medical Negligence solicitors on litigating cases
• Assist senior team members with complex cases
• Draft applications to the Court of Protection
• Draft annual Deputy Reports
• Coordinate interim billing and the detailed assessment of professional costs
• Keep accurate records and manage files efficiently
• Deal with relevant administrative tasks
