Finance (Commercial Lending) Associate Attorney (Mid-Level)
Key requirements
3-5 years of experience representing banks, private credit funds, and other financial institutions in commercial lending transactions Experience representing lenders in single-lender and syndicated credit facilities Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security agreements, guaranties, collateral documents, pledge agreements, intercreditor agreements, and related financing documentation Experience with venture debt, acquisition finance, asset-based lending, second lien or mezzanine financing
The role
Morrison & Foerster seeks a mid-level Finance Associate Attorney for its Boston office. This role is for an attorney with 3-5 years of experience in commercial lending transactions, focusing on representing financial institutions.
What we're looking for
3-5 years of experience representing banks, private credit funds, and other financial institutions in commercial lending transactions
Experience representing lenders in single-lender and syndicated credit facilities
Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security agreements, guaranties, collateral documents, pledge agreements, intercreditor agreements, and related financing documentation
Experience with venture debt, acquisition finance, asset-based lending, second lien or mezzanine financing
Proven track-record of working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple transactions simultaneously
Ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form
Strong attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
Independent thinker that demonstrates commitment to client service
Desire to work in a team environment and take on increasing levels of responsibility
Member of the Massachusetts bar
