Construction Associate Director at Osborne Clarke

The role

An Associate Director level solicitor is sought for the non-contentious construction team in Bristol or London, with a focus on energy and energy transition projects. The role requires experience advising on EPC, BOP, supply and O&M contracts for renewables and energy storage, and the ability to lead negotiation meetings.

What you'll do

Lead negotiation meetings
Guide and manage client stakeholders through the negotiation process
Manage the construction aspects of complex matters
Supervise junior lawyers where appropriate

What we're looking for

Associate Director level experience

Experience advising on the drafting and negotiation of EPC, BOP, supply and O&M contracts for renewables, energy storage, wind and/or grid stability projects

Ability to lead negotiation meetings

Ability to guide and manage client stakeholders through the negotiation process

Experience of managing the construction aspects of complex matters

Experience of negotiating agreements based on the FIDIC and NEC suites as well as bespoke EPC and O&M arrangements

Experience working on matters with multiple interested parties, particularly in the context of a project finance-led structure

Highly motivated and interested in relevant sectors
