Solicitor/Associate - Construction Professional Indemnity

The role

We are seeking a talented Solicitor to join our highly regarded Professional Indemnity Team, with a particular focus on construction-related professional indemnity claims. This role is for a motivated lawyer to play an integral part in the continued success and development of the team, contributing to high-profile matters and supporting the team's ambitious growth strategy.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering clear, commercial and pragmatic advice
• Keep stakeholders informed of strategy, risks and developments
• Work on a varied caseload of construction-related professional indemnity claims on behalf of a wide range of construction professionals
• Assist insurers with coverage issues under construction professional indemnity policies
• Identify key policy and indemnity considerations early
• Handle appropriate matters from initial instruction through pre-action and litigated stages
• Draft correspondence and pleadings
• Manage evidence
• Support clients with real-time project issues where required
• Take day-to-day ownership of files
• Support Partners and senior lawyers on larger matters
• Contribute to the resolution of disputes through ADR
• Instruct and liaise with experts and Counsel
• Help to scope instructions
• Manage timetables
• Ensure advice is implemented effectively
