Senior Associate - Financial Lines Insurance

The role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate with a minimum of 4 years PQE to join our Financial Lines Insurance team in Edinburgh. This role is for a qualified solicitor experienced in defending professional indemnity claims, particularly those involving financial services, brokers, accountants, or construction professionals, and will involve managing complex, high-value, and multi-jurisdictional disputes.

What you'll do

• Manage a varied caseload of professional indemnity and financial disputes, from pre-action through to resolution
• Advise insurers and insured clients on coverage and liability issues
• Handle complex, high-value claims and multi-party litigation
• Draft pleadings, reports and client advice
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers
• Contribute to business development initiatives and the growth of the Edinburgh practice
