Associate/Senior Associate at Shoosmiths

The role

An Associate or Senior Associate (4+ PQE) with commercial litigation experience is sought for the Litigation, Regulatory & Compliance team in Leeds. This role focuses on complex, high-value commercial and financial services disputes for a diverse client base.

What you'll do

Advise on all aspects of commercial and/or financial services dispute resolution
Advise on court proceedings
Advise on arbitration
Advise on ADR

What we're looking for

4+ PQE

Strong grounding in commercial and/or financial services litigation

Experience managing complex disputes

Experience navigating high-stakes matters

Expertise in litigation

Confidence in client engagement

Ability to lead on cases

Ability to build trusted relationships

Collaborative mindset

Enthusiasm for contributing to business development efforts

Experience in Financial Services disputes· nice to have

Experience acting for large corporates on complex, high value and reputationally significant commercial disputes· nice to have
