Supervising or Managing Associate - Structured Products at Simmons & Simmons

The role

Simmons & Simmons is seeking a Supervising or Managing Associate with 4+ years of PQE to join its Structured Finance & Derivatives practice in London or Bristol. This role will focus on advising leading financial institutions and asset managers on complex domestic and cross-border structured products and derivatives transactions.

What you'll do

Work on a broad range of sophisticated domestic and cross-border structured products matters
Advise leading financial institutions, asset managers and other market participants on transaction structuring, execution and related regulatory considerations
Take ownership of significant transaction workstreams
Manage day-to-day client relationships
Play a key role in the successful delivery of complex matters
Work closely with colleagues across Financial Markets, Capital Markets and Financial Regulation
Supervise and mentor junior lawyers
Contribute to business development initiatives
Support the continued growth and success of the practice

What we're looking for

Qualified solicitor in England & Wales or equivalent common law jurisdiction

4+ years' post-qualification experience with strong exposure to structured products or structured finance work gained within a leading practice

Experience working with investment banks, asset managers, financial institutions or other sophisticated financial market participants

Strong technical and transaction management skills, with the ability to take ownership of matters and client relationships

Collaborative and commercially-minded, with an interest in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the continued growth of the practice
