Labour & Employment Associate (4-5 PQE) - London at Squire Patton Boggs

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified solicitor with 4-5 years of PQE in employment law to join the Labour & Employment (L&E) team at Squire Patton Boggs. The role involves working on complex, cross-jurisdictional matters and advising clients on a broad range of employment law issues, including transactional and contentious matters, within a globally focused, collaborative team.

What you'll do

Advise on a wide range of projects
Draft global policies and procedures
Advise on disciplinary and grievance issues
Advise on restructures and redundancies
Advise on TUPE and changes to terms and conditions

What we're looking for

Qualified solicitor under the laws of England and Wales

4-5 years of PQE

Strong track record in employment law

Excellent academic credentials

Solid matter management

Ambition, self-motivation, and desire and ability to deliver high-quality work

Ability to act on own initiative

Adept at handling a broad spectrum of non-contentious employment law issues, including the employment aspects of corporate transactions litigation and multi-country projects

Experience in Employment Tribunal litigation

Experienced in delegating to and managing the work of junior associates and trainees

Keen interest in business development, including cross selling between different practice areas

Experience in the London market· nice to have

Seeking to make a move to the capital· nice to have
