The role

Dentons is seeking an Associate with 5+ years of PQE to join their Finance practice in Glasgow, United Kingdom. This role will involve carrying out a broad range of finance work, including corporate lending and real estate finance, for a diverse client base of lenders and borrowers.

What you'll do

Carry out a broad range of finance work, including corporate lending and real estate finance
Work with team members across Edinburgh, Glasgow, and London offices
Work with the firm's global network of offices on cross-border transactions
Get involved in marketing and business development initiatives

What we're looking for

Between two and five years' post qualifying experience in general banking work on a wide variety of transactions

Broad knowledge of corporate banking law gained within private practice

Enthusiastic about keeping up with the latest trends and decisions in finance law

Strong communication skills at all levels

Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands

A collaborative team player who can also work independently and use initiative where appropriate

Able to demonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt to change

Skilled at building and Maintaining strong client relationships

Proven ability to solve problems and deal with client matters

Ambitious, with a genuine drive to succeed

Able to demonstrate a keen interest in business development, supported by relevant experience or evidence

Teamwork - Maintains productive and harmonious relationships within own team and across the firm to achieve objectives. Promotes team-based working and shares knowledge
