The role

A Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer with 2-4 years of PQE is sought for Dentons' London office. This role offers access to a high-quality and varied caseload, supporting partners and senior associates on complex domestic and cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters.

What you'll do

Advise on restructuring and insolvency situations and procedures for a range of stakeholders
Advise on and implement restructuring strategies and processes
Advise on the appointment of insolvency office holders and assist them in their roles including contingency planning
Advise on insolvency transactions such as pre-packs and other administration business sales including funding arrangements
Advise on the enforcement of security in non-consensual situations including security reviews
Advise on insolvency disputes officeholder claims other contentious insolvency situations and non-contentious applications to Court
Advise HM Government public agencies and regulators on strategic matters involving actual or potential insolvencies
Engage in business development including training and seminars
Develop internal know-how and business development collateral

What we're looking for

2 to 4 years PQE specialist experience in restructuring and insolvency law and practice

Clear understanding of finance and security documentation

Well-developed contractual drafting and negotiation skills including experience of sale agreements/ similar

Clear understanding of English civil litigation procedures generally with specific experience in preparing Insolvency Act applications for Court including drafting evidence

Proven client handling skills and ability to instil client confidence

An enthusiasm for restructuring and insolvency law as well as the ability to give advice in a commercial context

An excellent academic background

Experience working in a successful team-based environment
