The role
An experienced Lawyer or Associate with 2-3 years of PQE in commercial law, specifically financial services or finance work, is sought to join the Banking & Financial Services section in Sydney. This role will involve advising on a range of financial transactions and regulatory matters for clients like superannuation funds and investment managers, with opportunities to collaborate nationally.
What you'll do
- Advise on commercial arrangements including finance transactions, mergers and service provider arrangements
- Assist with commercial transactions, including establishing funds and fund mergers
- Provide regulatory advice to superannuation funds, investment managers and platform providers
- Prepare and review disclosure documents, annual reports, periodic statements and advertising material
- Participate in marketing and business development (including assisting in seminars and other presentations)
- Prepare and review precedents
- Author articles for publication
- Participate in team and section meetings and CPD activities
What we're looking for
