Construction & Infrastructure Lawyer

The role

Lavan is seeking an ambitious and commercially-minded lawyer with 5+ years of PQE to join its Construction and Infrastructure Team. This role will focus on both front-end and back-end matters within construction, infrastructure, and mining services, supporting a two-partner practice.

What you'll do

• Prepare tender documents
• Review contracts for clients
• Draft clarification schedules
• Draft and negotiate various forms of contracts
• Provide strategic advice on claims management and contract disputes
• Prepare applications for adjudication under the security of payment legislation
• Respond to applications for adjudication under the security of payment legislation
• Represent parties in arbitration proceedings
• Represent parties in litigation in the Supreme Court of Western Australia, the District Court and State Administrative Tribunal
• Build and maintain excellent client relationships
• Collaborate with others to deliver desired outcomes
