The role
Mills Oakley is seeking a Corporate Advisory Lawyer with 3-4 years of PQE to join their M&A team in Perth, Australia. This role will involve representing clients in a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions under the guidance of partners Luke Nicholls and Andrew Crean.
What you'll do
- Conduct legal research and draft documents
- Coordinate and review due diligence
- Draft and/or review various contracts and corporate documents, and summarise them, including for key legal issues relevant to the client
- Prepare draft advices to clients for review
- Coordinate completion activities and liaise with junior lawyers on those activities
- Perform verification and other legal reviews
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
What we're looking for
Between 3-4 years' experience in a reputable corporate practice group or in-house role
Strong drafting skills and legal reasoning
Excellent communication skills
Strong commercial awareness
Experience in working in a team environment
Experience in corporate and commercial law
Desire to learn and work on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters
