The role

Hamilton Locke is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Band 1 ranked Funds & Financial Services team. This role is for an experienced lawyer who will advise fund managers, fintechs, payment service providers, and financial institutions on complex regulatory and transactional matters, taking ownership of client relationships and mentoring junior lawyers.

Advise an impressive client base of fund managers, fintechs, payment service providers, and financial institutions on complex regulatory and transactional matters
Play a key role in shaping strategic advice
Drive client relationships
Mentor junior lawyers
Contribute to business growth

What we're looking for

5+ years’ experience in private practice or in-house

Specialisation in financial services, funds management, fintech, or regulatory matters

Strong technical and commercial skills

Confidence in advising clients on complex regulatory issues

Ability to lead client relationships

Ability to mentor junior lawyers

Entrepreneurial mindset

Enjoy collaborating across teams and contributing to the firm’s growth and profile in the market· nice to have
