The role
This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with 3+ years of experience to join Piper Alderman's Restructuring & Insolvency team. Reporting to industry recognised partners Michael Lhuede and Joanne Hardwick, this role offers the chance to work on a broad range of insolvency, restructuring, and general commercial litigation matters, while developing your skillset and supervising junior lawyers.

- Refine existing commercial litigation and analytical skills
- Work on a wide range of matters
- Develop your restructuring and insolvency skillset
- Apply your technical expertise to complex and challenging work
- Learn from a variety of highly experienced litigators
- Supervise and develop junior lawyers
What we're looking for
3+ years experience in a similar position
Experience supporting a team in a law firm or professional services environment
Experience working both autonomously and collaboratively on matters
Aptitude to manage direct client contact
Capability to effectively manage up and down where required
Initiative to take on the day to day conduct of litigation under the supervision of partners
A willingness to grow your advocacy and examination skills before a Court
High attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Team player with a collaborative approach
Exceptional time management skills
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
Highly proficient and experienced in performing critical analysis and solving problems
Experienced in dealing with highly confidential information
Ability to operate with discretion where required
Enthusiastic and personally motivated to perform continuous learning and self-improvement
Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Filesite/Work 10 experience is desirable· nice to have
Expert Aderant experience is desirable· nice to have
