Lawyer | Associate - Insurance

The role

An experienced Lawyer or Associate is sought for the General Insurance practice in Sydney. This role will primarily focus on property matters (liability and defence) and other general insurance matters, including some professional indemnity exposure, for leading national and international insurers. The position offers the opportunity to manage your own files with supervision.

What you'll do

• Draft client advices
• Review documents and preparation of evidence
• Legal research
• Draft correspondence to the Court and third parties
• Conference with witnesses and prepare witness statements
• Prepare briefs for counsel
• Draft Court documents and attendance at Court
• Draft letters of instruction to experts and conferencing with them
