Senior Associate/Special Counsel - Restructuring & Insolvency

The role

Johnson Winter Slattery is seeking an experienced Senior Associate/Special Counsel with 7+ years of PQE to join their top-tier Restructuring & Insolvency practice group in Sydney, Australia. This role involves advising on complex advisory and corporate insolvency matters, as well as insolvency-related litigation, and will offer opportunities for hands-on matter management and mentoring junior lawyers.

What you'll do

• Play a key part on high-profile, complex advisory and corporate insolvency matters
• Handle insolvency-related litigation for insolvency practitioners, ASX listed corporations, investment banks, private equity and funders
• Manage high calibre cutting edge matters
• Provide strategic input alongside Partners
• Train and mentor junior lawyers
