Associate (2-5 PQE) Catastrophic Injury - Employers Liability/Public Liability

The role

An Associate with 2-5 PQE is sought for the Catastrophic Injury team at Clyde & Co in Manchester. This role is for lawyers experienced in handling complex, high-value personal injury claims, particularly those involving Employers’ Liability and Public Liability with catastrophic and large loss matters.

What you'll do

• Manage a caseload of complex EL/PL claims, including catastrophic and large loss matters
• Assist partners and senior lawyers on high-value, technically challenging cases
• Conduct detailed liability investigations and quantum assessments
• Instruct and liaise with counsel, experts, and other stakeholders
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documentation
• Support clients with strategic case management and early resolution strategies
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver a high standard of service
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and wider business development initiatives
