The role
Reed Smith's Dallas office is hiring a Mid-Level M&A Associate with 3-5 years of experience. This role focuses on representing public and private clients in M&A and private equity transactions, requiring strong drafting and negotiation skills for complex deal documents.
What you'll do
- Represent public and private clients in M&A, private equity, venture capital, securities offerings and securities law compliance, and general corporate matters
- Draft and negotiate complex M&A and private equity transactions and related investment agreements
- Serve as a key member of deal teams for a range of middle market transactions
- Produce acquisition, equity and related documents in a client-ready format
- Run key aspects of transactions, from due diligence through closing
What we're looking for
3-5 years of experience in M&A, private equity, venture capital, securities offerings and securities law compliance, and general corporate matters
Hands on drafting and negotiating experience for complex M&A and private equity transactions and related investment agreements
