Junior Corporate Finance Associate (Chicago) at Holland & Knight

The role

Holland & Knight's Corporate Finance Group seeks a junior associate with 1-3 years of legal experience to join its Chicago practice. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in documenting, negotiating, and closing finance transactions, with a preference for those representing lenders and/or borrowers. Less experienced candidates are encouraged to apply if they possess general transactional experience.

What you'll do

Represent lenders and/or borrowers in the documentation, negotiation, and closing of finance transactions

What we're looking for

1-3 years of legal experience

Experience representing lenders and/or borrowers in finance transactions

Experience in the documentation, negotiation, and closing of finance transactions

General transactional experience (for candidates with 1-2 years of experience)

Strong academic credentials

Excellent drafting skills

High level of motivation and attention to detail

Licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Illinois

Experience in asset-based, real estate, and/or cash flow loans· nice to have

Reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Chicago area· nice to have

Benefits

Pay range: $235,000 - $260,000/yr in applicable locations
