The role
Holland & Knight's Corporate Finance Group seeks a mid-level associate with 3-6 years of legal experience for its Chicago office. The role focuses on representing lenders and/or borrowers in finance transactions, with an emphasis on asset-based, real estate, and cash flow loans.
What you'll do
- Represent lenders and/or borrowers in the documentation, negotiation, and closing of finance transactions
- Work closely with a collaborative and well-established team
What we're looking for
3-6 years of legal experience
Experience representing lenders and/or borrowers in the documentation, negotiation, and closing of finance transactions
Experience with asset-based, real estate, and/or cash flow loans
General transactional experience
Strong academic credentials
Excellent drafting skills
High level of motivation and attention to detail
Licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Illinois
Reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Chicago area prior to hire
Experience representing lenders or borrowers in finance transactions (for less experienced candidates)· nice to have
Benefits
260,000 - $390,000/yr pay range
