Data Privacy Litigation Associate

The role

Holland & Knight is seeking a junior-to-mid-level associate with 2-4 years of litigation experience to join its Data Strategy, Security & Privacy team in San Francisco. This role is for a litigator interested in building a practice at the intersection of privacy law, cybersecurity, and complex commercial litigation, with a focus on representing clients in privacy-related enforcement actions and class actions.

What you'll do

• Represent and defend clients in all aspects of consumer class actions
• Represent and defend clients in mass arbitrations
• Represent and defend clients in government enforcement actions
• Develop deep substantive knowledge of privacy statutes
• Develop deep substantive knowledge of cybersecurity statutes
• Develop deep substantive knowledge of consumer protection statutes
• Sharpen core litigation skills
• Take an active, hands-on role in every phase of a matter
