The role
Orrick is seeking a Banking & Finance Associate with 4-6 years of experience to join their team in New York, Los Angeles, or San Francisco. The role focuses on structured finance and secured lending, with an emphasis on representing credit funds and other lenders, borrowers, and sponsors in various financing transactions, including those involving private credit and liability management.
What you'll do
- Represent credit funds and other lenders, borrowers and sponsors in a wide range of financings, both domestically and internationally
- Handle receivables financings and other structured credit deals
- Engage in private credit lending
- Manage distressed financings
- Work on syndicated credit facilities
- Facilitate growth capital financings
- Work with clients in the private credit/special situations space with a focus on liability management transactions involving receivables financings and other structures providing liquidity to financially distressed companies
What we're looking for
Four to six years of experience in structured finance and secured lending
Three to six years of relevant law firm experience
Highly motivated
Superior client service skills
Member of the Bar in a U.S. State
Satisfy any requirements of the Orrick office’s jurisdiction
