The role
Orrick's Structured Finance team is seeking an associate with 2-8 years of experience, focusing on Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and asset-based lending. The role is for a dedicated team player eager to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What you'll do
- Advise on the structuring, execution, and closing of CLO transactions, with a focus on middle-market leveraged loans
- Work closely with arrangers, managers, investors, and issuers on deal documentation and regulatory matters
- Manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team culture
What we're looking for
2-8 years of experience in structured finance with significant exposure to CLOs and/or middle-market leveraged loans
Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines
Four to seven years of relevant law firm experience
Highly motivated with superior client service skills
Member of the Bar in a U.S. State and satisfy any requirements of the Orrick office’s jurisdiction
