Wilson Sonsini is seeking a mid-level Employment Litigation Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join their practice in Century City, Palo Alto, or San Francisco. This role will focus on complex employment litigation matters for technology and life science clients.
What you'll do
- Conduct internal investigations
- Advise on spin-out mergers
- Prepare briefs
- Litigate employment law cases
- Provide day-to-day advice on terminations, leaves of absence, and reviewing and drafting policies
- Advise on trade secrets, non-competes, and employee non-solicitation
- Advise clients on employment-related issues in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions
What we're looking for
2-5 years of experience in management-side employment law litigation and counseling
Considerable experience litigating employment law cases
Experience providing day-to-day advice to fast-growing technology companies on all aspects of employment law
Experience with employment mobility issues including trade secrets, non-competes, and employee non-solicitation
Experience advising clients on employment-related issues in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions
Excellent academic credentials
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
Membership in the CA Bar is preferred
