The role
Wilson Sonsini is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with 2+ years of PQE to join their dynamic team in Century City, Palo Alto, or San Francisco. This role focuses on management-side employment law litigation and counseling for technology and life science companies.
What you'll do
- Conduct internal investigations
- Advise on spin-out mergers
- Prepare briefs
- Handle significant litigation matters spanning the employment relationship
- Manage trade secret misappropriation claims
- Manage covenants not to compete and other contract issues
- Manage high-profile sexual harassment and discrimination matters
- Provide advice on terminations, leaves of absence, and reviewing and drafting policies
What we're looking for
2-5 years of experience in management-side employment law litigation and counseling
Considerable experience litigating employment law cases
Providing day-to-day advice to fast-growing technology companies on all aspects of employment law
Advising clients on employment mobility issues including trade secrets, non-competes, and employee non-solicitation
Advising clients on employment-related issues in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions
Excellent academic credentials
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
Membership of the CA Bar is preferred
Resident in Palo Alto, San Francisco or Century City office· nice to have
