The role
Wilson Sonsini is seeking a Junior Energy & Climate Solutions/Tax Associate with 1-3 years of experience to join their Los Angeles or San Francisco office. This role will focus on transactional tax matters within the firm's Energy and Climate Solutions group, specifically involving tax credits and tax equity transactions.
What you'll do
- Work on a variety of transactions involving tax credits
- Work on tax equity and transferability transactions
- Work in close collaboration with other elements of our project finance practice, including lawyers providing corporate, debt and securitization input
What we're looking for
1-3 years of law firm experience
Experience with transactions involving tax credits under sections 45, 45X, 45Y, 45Z, 48 and/or 48E of the Internal Revenue Code
Experience with tax equity and transferability transactions
Tax generalists with transactional experience who are looking to specialize· nice to have
