The role
Goodwin is seeking a mid-level corporate associate with 2-4 years of PQE to join its Life Sciences practice. The role focuses on corporate transactions for high-growth companies in the life sciences, healthcare, and technology sectors, including equity financings, IPOs, M&A, and corporate governance.
What you'll do
- Work with venture backed private and public companies through a range of transactions including equity financing, IPOs, M&A and corporate governance
What we're looking for
2-4 years of experience in a broad range of lifecycle corporate and transactional matters
Experience in public company work
Experience in registered equity offerings
Experience in ongoing SEC representation
Experience in M&A transactions
General experience working in teams
General experience managing substantial components of transactions independently
Outstanding academic credentials
Comparable law firm experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
Experience working with life sciences companies· nice to have
