The role

Goodwin Procter is seeking a mid-level associate for their Debt Finance group. The role is for lawyers with experience representing private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in leveraged buyout and acquisition financings.

What you'll do

Represent private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders in connection with term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and corporate growth
Draft and negotiate commitment papers, credit agreements and collateral documents

What we're looking for

Mid-level associate experience

Experience representing private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and corporate growth

Experience drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements and collateral documents

Outstanding academic credentials

Comparable law firm experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
