The role

Goodwin Procter is seeking a mid-level associate with specific experience in debt finance to join their team. This role is for lawyers with experience representing private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financings, focusing on drafting and negotiating loan documentation.

What you'll do

Represent private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders in connection with term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and corporate growth
Draft and negotiate commitment papers
Draft and negotiate credit agreements
Draft and negotiate collateral documents

What we're looking for

Mid-level associate

Outstanding academic credentials

Comparable law firm experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)

Experience representing private equity sponsors· nice to have
