Private Equity M&A - Mid-Level/Senior Associate at Goodwin

The role

Goodwin is seeking a highly qualified associate with 3+ years of PQE to join their Private Equity Group. The role requires experience in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including M&A, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity, venture capital transactions, exits, and equity compensation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess strong business acumen and communication skills, and be adept at managing client and counsel relationships.

What we're looking for

3+ years of PQE

Experience working in teams and managing transaction components independently

Specific experience in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters

Experience in mergers and acquisitions

Experience in leveraged recapitalizations

Experience in growth equity and venture capital transactions

Experience in exits and equity compensation

Proactive approach

Strong business sense

Stellar communication skills

Ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships

Outstanding academic credentials

Comparable law firm experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
